Canadian Silver Coins Gates of Canada

Canadian Silver Coins Gates of Canada

A four-coin subscription, Canadian silver coins Gates of Canada series is a stunning series of four fine silver coins featuring views through the gates of the Gardens of Canada.  Four different gates are featured in these beautiful fine silver coins, Enchanted Garden Gates, Halifax Public Garden Gates, Parliament Gates, and Royal Canadian Mint Gates.

These coins use a special technique to enhance their beauty, filigree gates.  Filigree coins exist, but these have the filigree in a different metal, white bronze, painted black to give a weathered look.  The gates on each coin are a stark black foreground to a beautifully enameled colorful coin.

Canadian Silver Coins Gates of Canada Views

Royal Canadian Mint’s YouTube

The Royal Canadian Mint occasionally produces brief videos.  These are found on the Royal Canadian Mint’s website at the same location as the coin.  Or, one can visit YouTube to view the videos.

The first coin is available for viewing as it rotates, giving different views.  One can see the raised filigree gate as the coin rotates. View this video here.

There is also a video of the second coin rotating.  This video is much brighter, and the special filigree feature is more apparent.  View this video here.

There is also a video showing the coin being developed.  View this video here.

I would expect the other two coins to be accompanied by videos once they are available.

A visit to the Royal Canadian Mint’s website is well worth the time.

Purchasing from the Royal Canadian Mint is easy, and shipping has in the past been free to Canada and the United States, provided the purchase is for a minimum of one hundred Canadian dollars.  Just be aware there may be a slight charge on a card for monetary conversion.  I have paid about one percent, but this varies by card. For older Canadian coins check what we have available at Black Spaniel Gallery Coins. This article uses affiliate links to the Royal Canadian Mint, and Adsense.  Please see the notice regarding these on any page of our website.
